.Teeth Whitening
Whitening procedures have effectively restored the smile of people with stained, dull or discolored teeth. More and more people today are choosing tooth-whitening procedures to reverse the effects of aging and abuse from food and tobacco stains.
Many over-the-counter whitening products have abrasive substances that can actually wear away your tooth’s enamel. Professional whitening performed by our office is considered to be the most effective and safest method: done properly, tooth whitening can last as long as five years. This is the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedure.
Call us, and we would be happy to schedule you for an appointment to discuss your whitening needs.
Bonding
Bonding is a composite resin filling placed, usually in the front teeth, for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements and even changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth.
Bonding will lighten stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct crooked teeth.
During the bonding process, the dentist will apply a thin coat of a plastic material on the front surface of your teeth. The material will then be sculpted and shaped to provide a pleasing result. A high-intensity light then hardens the plastic and the surface is finely polished.
Porcelain Veneers
In dentistry, a veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. The tooth is prepped at the dental office and then the porcelain veneers are indirectly fabricated in a lab. The patient then returns to the dental office and the veneer is placed.
